The Victorian Junior Basketball League has a commitment to increasing basketball standards throughout Victorian junior basketball. An integral part of this is the 'No Zone' rulings throughout Under-10. Under-12 and Under-14 competitions.
Players will have plenty of time to learn about zone and advanced defensive tactics as they advance through the age groups, however it is of importance that rising juniors learn the basics of defensive principals first before moving forward.
